APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Expression of Interest (EOI)

Complete an Expression of Interest Form here. 

2. Application

*Applications close 30 October 2020.

Send your completed form, together with a Cover Letter outlining your interest and suitability for the program, and your current CV to Dr Caitlin Munday, Director of Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney at director@teachingschoolsalliancesydney.org 

3. Interview

Should the Alliance wish to interview you, scholarship interviews will be held in the last week of November and first two weeks of December 2020. Interviews will also include a class teaching and feedback activity.

4. Offer

Should you be successful, you will be offered a conditional position with the Teaching Schools Alliance, on the provision that you meet the Tertiary entrance requirements of Alphacrucis College for the degree program. At this point you will have the opportunity to visit your potential sponsoring school and meet with the Principal or senior staff.

5. Induction

You will receive a contract from your sponsoring school and commence their school-specific induction process over the Christmas holidays. You will undertake new staff induction in your placement school in late January.

You will also participate in an induction session with other trainees in the Alliance cohort.

6. Commence your study

Your first intensive will be held early February. Lectures will be held one day each week, throughout the school terms, as well as through your online studies.
